The new guidelines which are being written for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) are due to be completed by November next year.
The progress is slow but we hope that it will be thorough. TPA (uk) are stakeholders in these guidelines along with several other Thyroid Groups. We had some input on the initial scope which said what was to be covered by the guidelines and it is our understanding that we will be able to comment and suggest any changes, before the document is finalised.
