The American Thyroid Association’s Task Force on Thyroid Hormone Replacementhas published new “Guidelines for the Treatment of Hypothyroidism.”The new guidelines have been published in the journal Thyroid, and adraft proof of the article is are available to read in PDF format online.
While the conventional endocrinology community appears to be satisfied withthese Guidelines, they are controversial for patients and other practitioners.I have discussed some of the many controversial aspects later in this article.
